Founder story
Once the scent of medicine filled my days but my passion for shaping the lives of our children and families led me on a different path. Leaving behind the pharmacy shelves I started a journey into the world of child psychology, children's health and wellbeing and sexual education, understanding the tender minds and nurturing spirits. Another journey into the world of the psychology of wellbeing, understanding human emotions and positive mind-set, nurturing meaningful relationships and cultivating a sense of purpose.
This knowledge became more than just theoretical concepts, it became a guidance light in my daily interactions with my children. I learned the importance of empathy, patience and listening. Yet, the most powerful of all is unconditional giving and love.
Empowered by my journey and the transformative changes it brought to my parenting, I felt a compelling drive to share this knowledge with my fellow parents. Hence, I voluntarily organised workshops and support groups. In addition, I offered one-to-one guidance to parents addressing their specific concerns and providing tailored advice reinforcing their confidence in their parenting abilities.
All of these efforts and experiences catalysed the idea of ‘Living Well Giving’. At the heart of the foundation’s ethos was the idea that every parent deserves access to evidence-based knowledge and a supportive community. As the founder of this ground-breaking foundation, my vision was not only to empower parents but to cultivate a generation of emotionally intelligent, empathetic and resilient individuals giving every child the right to thrive and be nurtured by the love and understanding of well-informed parents.
